How RR (Rank Rating) Works

Every rank division spans 0–100 RR. A win typically grants 10–25 RR and a loss costs about the same, with your personal performance and hidden MMR nudging the amount. Hit 100 RR and you promote; drop below 0 and you demote with a small RR buffer.

At Immortal and Radiant, divisions disappear — your RR becomes a regional leaderboard number. You can see exactly where the cutoff sits on our live leaderboards, updated every five minutes for all six regions and console.

ValorantScan tracks your rank history permanently from your first sign-in — peak rank, RR trends, and per-act records that the in-game client doesn't show you.

Rank Checker FAQ

How do I check my Valorant rank?

Sign in with your Riot account on ValorantScan and your current rank, RR (Rank Rating), and recent competitive matches load instantly from the official Riot API. It is free and your profile stays private by default.

What is RR in Valorant?

RR (Rank Rating) is the points system inside each rank, running 0–100. Winning grants roughly 10–25 RR and losing costs a similar amount, weighted by performance and hidden MMR. Reach 100 RR and you promote to the next tier.

Why can’t I see my rank without signing in?

Riot requires player consent for third-party sites to show personal stats. ValorantScan is fully Riot-compliant: you sign in once with Riot Sign-On, and only you can see your stats unless you opt in to a public profile.

What rank are most Valorant players?

The largest share of ranked players sits in Silver and Gold. Reaching Platinum puts you roughly in the top 20%, Diamond in the top 10%, and Immortal or Radiant in the top 1%.

How is my peak rank tracked?

ValorantScan records your rank every time your stats refresh, building a permanent history — so your peak rank and rank progress are tracked from the day you first sign in.
